WELCOME TO CHIROL


We thank you for choosing to spend time with us.


We want you to feel comfortable and welcomed during your stay. Our goal is to create a warm and friendly atmosphere where everyone can relax and enjoy their stay.

We are here to meet your needs and preferences.


INTERNAL RULES


Access to property

We are located approximately 600 meters from the RN21 via a private road, quiet, in the middle of the forest and meadows.

Access to the house is via a dirt road. However, any type of vehicle or motorcycle can practice it.

Access to the property is only possible for people who have reserved and are staying in the rooms.

The property is in no case intended for visits or the reception of external people without prior agreement with the owners.

We will welcome your friends to stay in the garden, share a breakfast or a meal only if we have agreed together before their arrival, otherwise we will not be able to accept them.

A video surveillance system is installed in the common areas of the house as well as in the garden and around the swimming pool.


Arrivals and departures

Arrivals are from 3:00 p.m., and departures before 11:00 a.m., but we can adapt according to our availability and your requirements (additional charges may apply).

We will give you a key, so that for stays of more than one night, you can access the property 24 hours a day.

Please note: the loss of this key requires us to replace the lock, we will be obliged to charge you 200.00 euros for the replacement of the security cylinder if you happen to misplace it.

We are grateful if you indicate your arrival time when booking and inform us of any changes at 06.71.19.62.64 .


Bedrooms

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate people with reduced mobility, with the exception of "Coline's house" because our rooms are located upstairs.

Children over 12 years old are welcome if they are calm.

Children are the full responsibility of their parents and covered by their own insurance.


Rules of use and cleanliness

We provide toiletries and consumables for your comfort, but please do not take them with you, so that all our guests can enjoy them.

We remind you that the house is located in the middle of the forest: you can come across all kinds of animals there.

Be sure to turn off the lights and close your bedroom door when you are away.

WC: Please do not throw away anything other than paper . (Water purification microstation)

For smokers, use ashtrays located outside and do not throw cigarette butts in the garden.


Hot water – heating – air conditioning

We thank you for being respectful of the use of water.

Reversible air conditioning ensures heating and cooling of the rooms of the house. You can adjust the temperature directly in your room, keeping in mind energy expenditure and protection of the planet.

There is no air conditioning in Coline's house. However, a fan is available to you.


Wireless

A ""melsh"" network ensures a good WIFI connection (the password will be provided to you upon your arrival) inside and outside the house as well as in Coline's house.


TV/Radio

An HD screen is at your disposal offering free access to TNT radio and TV channels. Be careful not to disturb any neighbors with the noise level.


Drinks

You can order non-alcoholic drinks to drink on the terrace or by the pool. Alcohol can only be served during meals. Out of respect for our guests, it is strictly forbidden to bring and consume your own food and drinks throughout the establishment, and in particular around the swimming pool, as well as in the rooms. Only occupants of the "Coline's house" gite are authorized to bring their own food and drinks, which must be consumed in the gite or on its private terrace.

Breakfasts

For your comfort, we take note the day before of the composition of your breakfast, served from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the dining room, the garden or on the terrace depending on the season.

Continental breakfasts (included) offer you:

- breads, brioche or pastries,
- jams and/or jellies,
- butter, milk and dairy products,
- coffee, tea or chocolate,
- 1 glass of orange juice,

Please let us know your preferences and any food intolerances.

Please note that the foods offered at breakfast are intended exclusively to be consumed at the breakfast table and cannot be taken away unless explicitly requested.


Restoration

By reservation only at least the day before, depending on our preparation possibilities, we can offer you a catering service as part of our table d'hôtes, (for dinner). All our homemade dishes are made to order for you, using local products, respecting your desires and any food intolerances.


The evening menu is offered at €30. (starter dish dessert).


General provisions

The customer undertakes to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare and financially assume any possible damage for which he may be responsible.

Children growing up on the property are the sole responsibility of their parents. We draw your attention to the swimming pool and its overflow pool, as well as to the possibilities of falls near the forest (steep slope in places).

The kitchen is not left at the free disposal of guests.

Theft and accidents: the owners decline all responsibility in the event of theft or bodily damage occurring in the property.

We are counting on your cooperation to avoid leaving the lights on and the water running unnecessarily.

Sanitation being ensured by a micro-purification station, we ask you not to throw anything into the toilets.

In compliance with Decree No. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006, smoking is prohibited in places for collective use. The rooms are therefore non-smoking.

As part of the protection of minors, the sale of alcohol is prohibited to minors under 18 years of age.

We ask our guests to present decent attire for all occasions, and to be properly dressed and shod when moving around the common areas.

Religious or militant signs that do not respect French law are not tolerated.

In the event of a violation, your reservation will be canceled immediately and you must leave the premises as soon as possible without any compensation being claimed.

Finally, even if we greatly appreciate animals, none of them will be able to stay at home with you, for reasons of hygiene and safety, unless we have previously given you our consent. Any damage due to the presence of domestic animals must be assumed by its owner (reimbursement at replacement value of damage caused by the animal). Civil and criminal responsibilities will be fully covered by the owner of the animal who must be covered in this regard by a solvent company. Our establishment cannot be held responsible for the actions of the animal, particularly with regard to its actions towards other customers. Finally, for obvious reasons of hygiene, animals must not climb on the sofas or in the bedding.


Payments

Taxes apply if your reservation is made on third-party platforms, such as Booking, AirBnB, Tripadvisor, etc.

You can book directly with us, which offers you a lower rate compared to online booking platforms.

Meals and drinks are to be paid on site, we accept payment in cash or credit card.


Adherence to the general conditions of sale

Any reservation confirmed by payment of a deposit constitutes unreserved acceptance of the general conditions of sale as well as these internal regulations which will have been previously sent to you by email.


GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE FOR GUEST ROOMS


1. OBJECT :

These general conditions of sale are intended for the use of booking stays in guest rooms atCHIROL, 2600 route de la Préfecture – 24520 LAMONZIE MONTASTRUC. They constitute the reservation contract between Olivier FAVERIE and Claire BRIARD who operate and manage LE CHIROL and the client for a stay in a guest room. Acceptance and compliance with these conditions of sale are acquired upon payment of the deposit. The owners undertake to do everything possible to give guests a warm welcome, ensure a pleasant stay and facilitate their knowledge of the region.


2) DURATION OF STAY:

This contract, accepted by the customer, is concluded for a period determined at the time of booking. The customer may not, under any circumstances, assert any right to remain in the premises.

3) PRICES:

The prices indicated on this site are in €uros (VAT not applicable, Art. 293B of the CGI) per room and per night, for the number of people and for the dates chosen. Breakfasts are included in the price. Tourist tax is also included. Rates and offers are subject to availability at the time of booking and may not be renewed for subsequent reservations. Non-contractual conditions, prices and offers are subject to change without notice.


4) RESERVATION:

All reservations are accompanied by written confirmation made to the customer (email or post) and the payment of a deposit of 50% of the total amount of the stay (with a minimum of one night per room reserved). Deposits are non-refundable and deductible from the total bill on the day of departure. Deposits must be paid no later than 3 (three) days from the date of the reservation request and will be cashed upon receipt. The reservation is recorded and confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. Payment of the deposit implies acceptance of these general conditions of sale and the internal regulations. Please note that without payment of the deposit within the stipulated period, the reservation is not confirmed and therefore we reserve the right to recover the rooms.


5) TERMS OF PAYMENT:

· Payment by cash, bank transfer and credit card.

· Bank Transfer - (exclusively in euros) to the account of Olivier FAVERIE (RIB provided on request). Transfer costs are the sole responsibility of the originator.

The balance of the stay is to be paid on arrival, additional consumption and services not mentioned in this contract are to be paid the day before departure, at the customer's initiative.


6) MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION OF RESERVATIONS:

Any modificationand partial or total cancellation of a reservation by the customer must be requested directly from our establishment, either by mail or by email. This modification or cancellation request will only be effective when LE CHIROL has confirmed its acceptance by mail or email.


· If the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the arrival date, the amount paid during the reservation will be refunded in full.

· If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the arrival date, the 50% deposit is retained. If the customer wishes, they can be rescheduled for another stay within a limit of 6 months from the first reservation, depending on CHIROL availability.

· If the cancellation occurs less than 15 days before the arrival date, or in the event of a no-show, or if the customer shortens their stay, LE CHIROL reserves the right to invoice and claim or deduct the total amount of the planned stay. including the reservation of additional services ordered (table d'hôtes).

· If the customer does not appear in any way before 8:00 p.m. on the scheduled start day of the stay, this contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of his guest rooms. The deposit remains with the owner who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of the accommodation.


If before the start of the stay LE CHIROL finds itself obliged to cancel the reservation, it must inform its client either by post or by email. The customer, without prejudging any recourse for compensation for any damage suffered, will be immediately reimbursed for the sums already paid.

We draw your attention to the fact that no cancellation insurance is included in our prices. It is therefore strongly recommended to subscribe to one.


7) RESPONSIBILITY:

The customer certifies that he is covered by civil liability insurance covering his liability and that of his family.

Clients' children evolve within CHIROL under the sole responsibility of their parents. Use of the swimming pool is at the customer's own risk.

The client undertakes to return the guest rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay, to declare and financially assume any possible damage for which he may be responsible.

LE CHIROL declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss, damage to personal effects and/or damage or injury to property or people on the property, regardless of the cause.

If forgotten in the room at the end of the stay, the effects can be sent to the person concerned, at their request and at their expense.


8) ARRIVAL TIME:

The customer must arrive on the day of their reservation from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please notify in advance if you wish to arrive before 3:00 p.m. or after 7:00 p.m. in order to accommodate you. In case of early arrival, fees may apply (Early check-in).


9) DEPARTURE TIME:

On the day of departure, guests must vacate the rooms before 11:00 a.m. Any departure after 11:00 a.m. will result in an additional night being charged.


10) CHANGE OF ROOMS:

Without the customer being able to claim any compensation, CHIROL reserves the right to change the room initially reserved by the customer with a room of the same or greater capacity. In such a case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.


11) CAPACITY:

This contract is established for a specific number of occupants. LE CHIROL has the right to refuse any additional person. This refusal cannot be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner. In the event of the customer's departure, no refund can be considered. Note that it may be possible, in certain cases and under certain conditions, to provide an extra bed, involving additional costs for the customer.


12) BREAKFAST:

Breakfast is served every morning in a location that will be indicated to you the day before (Terrace, dining room, etc.). It is served between 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.


13) PETS:

Pets are generally not allowed. However, in the event of prior agreement from the CHIROL operators to accommodate them, customers are fully responsible for any damage caused by their pets. Specific stay arrangements for pets may be specified by the owner in internal regulations displayed in the accommodation. During their stay, animals remain the sole responsibility of their owner. In this case, fees apply for welcoming your animals (10.00 euros per animal per night).


14) ETIQUETTE AND USE OF PREMISES:

Respect for etiquette is required of all customers to guarantee the tranquility of the place and the comfort of all. The customer undertakes to respect the instructions for good manners appearing in the rooms and in these general conditions of sale.


- Please do not smoke in the rooms or in the windows and do not light candles. The rooms are strictly non-smoking. There is the possibility of smoking outside, making sure to throw your cigarette butts into the ashtrays provided.
- Private areas are not left at the free disposal of customers.
- Eating and drinking is prohibited in the rooms. The dining room and pool areas cannot be picnic areas.
- Any disrespectful attitude towards other guests and/or facilities may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation.
- Only people staying at CHIROL are authorized to use common areas and the swimming pool.
- Do not throw anything into the toilet other than toilet paper.

- Do not use bathroom linen for removing makeup or cleaning shoes. We reserve the right to charge the cost of replacing towels and/or linen stained with these products.


15) POOL:

The swimming pool is open from May to October (depending on weather conditions), from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. It is reserved only for family members and close friends of the owners and guests staying in guest rooms. LE CHIROL reminds customers of the lack of surveillance of the swimming pool. Any swimming in the pool must be done under the constant supervision of adults capable of intervening quickly in the event of danger. Access to the swimming pool and its surroundings is prohibited for unaccompanied children: children must be under the active, vigilant and sole supervision of their parents.

Any user of the swimming pool must be covered by Civil Liability defense and recourse insurance.
CHIROL and the owners of the premises decline all responsibility in the event of an accident or drowning.


16) COMPUTING AND FREEDOM:

In accordance with the law of January 6, 1978, law n°78-17, you have the right to access and rectify data concerning you. LE CHIROL undertakes not to transmit the information communicated to other companies or organizations, except competent authorities.


17) DISPUTE:

This contract is governed by French law.
All disputes to which this contract could give rise, concerning its validity, its interpretation, its execution, its termination, their consequences and their consequences will be submitted to the competent courts within the jurisdiction of CHIROL under the conditions of common law. This contract and its consequences are subject to French law.


18) MODIFICATION OF THE CONDITIONS OF SALE:

These conditions of sale are subject to change at any time and without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these conditions of sale are deemed acquired as soon as the deposit is paid.
