We want you to feel comfortable and welcome during your stay. Our goal is to create a warm and friendly atmosphere where everyone can relax and enjoy their stay.

We are here to meet your needs and preferences.

INTERNAL REGULATIONS

Access to property

We are located approximately 600 meters from the RN21 via a private road, in a quiet location, surrounded by forest and meadows.

Access to the house is via a dirt road. However, any type of vehicle or motorcycle can use it.

Access to the property is only possible for people who have booked and are staying in the rooms.

The property is in no way intended for visits or for hosting external people except with prior agreement with the owners.

We will welcome your friends to stay in the garden, share breakfast or a meal only if we have agreed to it together before their arrival, otherwise we cannot accept to receive them.

A video surveillance system is installed in the garden and around the swimming pool.

Arrivals and departures

Arrivals are from 3:00 PM, and departures are before 11:00 AM, but we can adapt according to our availability and your requirements (additional charges may apply).

We will give you a key so that for stays of more than one night, you can access the property 24 hours a day.

Warning: the loss of this key will require us to replace the lock, and we will therefore be obliged to charge you 200.00 euros for the replacement of the security cylinder if you happen to lose it.

We would appreciate it if you could indicate your arrival time when making your reservation and inform us of any changes at 06.71.19.62.64 .

Rooms

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate people with reduced mobility, with the exception of "Coline's house" because our rooms are located on an upper floor.

Children over 12 years old are welcome if they are calm.

Children are under the full responsibility of their parents and covered by their own insurance.

Rules of Use and Cleanliness

We provide toiletries and consumables for your comfort, but we ask that you do not take them away so that all our guests can enjoy them.

We remind you that the house is located in the middle of the forest: you may encounter all kinds of animals there.

Make sure to turn off the lights and close your bedroom door when you are not there.

Toilet: Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper . (Water treatment plant)

Smokers, please use the ashtrays located outside and do not throw cigarette butts in the garden.

Hot water – heating – air conditioning

Thank you for being respectful of water usage.

A reversible air conditioner provides heating and cooling for the rooms in the house. You can adjust the temperature directly in your room, keeping in mind energy consumption and protecting the environment.

Wi-Fi

A "melsh" network ensures a good WIFI connection (the password will be provided upon your arrival) inside and outside the house as well as in Coline's house.

TV/Radio

An HD screen is available for your use, offering free access to radio and digital terrestrial television channels. Please be mindful of the noise level and avoid disturbing your neighbors.

Drinks

You can order non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy on the terrace or by the pool. Alcohol may only be served with meals. Out of respect for our guests, it is strictly forbidden to bring or consume your own food and drinks anywhere on the property, including by the pool and in the guest rooms. Only guests staying in the "Coline's House" cottage are permitted to bring their own food and drinks, which must be consumed in the cottage or on its private terrace.

Breakfasts

For your comfort, we take note the day before of the composition of your breakfast, served at 09:00 in the dining room, the garden or on the terrace depending on the season.

Continental-style breakfasts (included) offer:

- breads, brioche or pastries,
- jams and/or jellies,
- butter, milk and dairy products,
- coffee, tea or hot chocolate,
- 1 large glass of orange juice,

Please let us know your preferences and any food intolerances.

Please note that the food offered at breakfast is exclusively for consumption at the breakfast table and cannot be taken away, except upon explicit request.

Restoration

By reservation only, at least one day in advance, and depending on our preparation capacity, we can offer a catering service as part of our table d'hôtes (for dinner). All our homemade dishes are prepared to order using local produce, taking into account your preferences and any dietary restrictions.

General provisions

The client agrees to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare and financially assume any damage for which they may be responsible.

Children on the property are the sole responsibility of their parents. We draw your attention to the swimming pool and its infinity edge, as well as the possibility of falls near the forest (steep slope in places).

The kitchen is not left at the guests' free disposal.

Theft and accidents: the owners decline all responsibility in case of theft or personal injury occurring on the property.

We rely on your cooperation to avoid leaving lights on and water running unnecessarily.

As sanitation is provided by a micro-treatment plant, we ask you not to throw anything in the toilets.

In accordance with Decree No. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006, smoking is prohibited in communal areas. Therefore, the rooms are non-smoking.

In order to protect minors, the sale of alcohol is prohibited to minors under 18 years of age.

We ask our guests to dress appropriately on all occasions, and to wear appropriate clothing and shoes when moving around in common areas.

Religious or militant symbols that do not comply with French law are not tolerated.

In the event of an infraction, your reservation will be cancelled immediately and you will have to leave the premises as soon as possible without any compensation being due.

Finally, although we love animals, none of them will be able to stay at the house with you, for reasons of hygiene and safety, unless we have given you our prior consent. Any damage caused by pets must be covered by the owner (reimbursement at replacement value for damages caused by the animal). The owner of the pet will be fully liable for civil and criminal damages and must be covered by a solvent insurance company. Our establishment cannot be held responsible for the actions of the animal, particularly regarding its behavior towards other guests. Finally, for obvious hygiene reasons, pets must not be allowed on the sofas or beds.

Payments

Taxes apply if your booking is made through third-party platforms such as Booking, Airbnb, TripAdvisor, etc.

You can book directly with us, which offers you a lower rate compared to online booking platforms.

Meals and drinks must be paid for on site; we accept cash or credit card payments.

Acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale

Any reservation confirmed by payment of a deposit constitutes unreserved acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale as well as these internal regulations which will have been previously sent to you by email.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE FOR BED AND BREAKFAST ROOMS

1) SUBJECT:

These general terms and conditions of sale are intended for use when booking stays in bed and breakfast rooms at LE CHIROL, 2600 route de la Préfecture – 24520 LAMONZIE MONTASTRUC. They constitute the booking contract between Olivier FAVERIE and Claire BRIARD, who operate and manage LE CHIROL, and the client for a stay in bed and breakfast rooms. Acceptance and compliance with these terms and conditions of sale are implied upon payment of the deposit. The owners commit to doing everything possible to provide guests with a warm welcome, ensure a pleasant stay, and facilitate their exploration of the region.

2) LENGTH OF STAY:

This contract, accepted by the client, is concluded for a fixed term as stated at the time of booking. Under no circumstances may the client claim any right to remain on the premises beyond this period.

3) PRICES:

The prices shown on this website are in Euros (VAT not applicable, Art. 293B of the French General Tax Code) per room, per night, for the number of people and dates selected. Breakfast is included in the price (except for the "Coline's House" gîte). Tourist tax is also included. Rates and offers are subject to availability at the time of booking and may not be carried over to future bookings. Terms, prices and non-contractual offers are subject to change without notice.

4) RESERVATION:

All reservations are subject to written confirmation sent to the client (email or letter) and a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the stay (with a minimum of one night per room reserved). Deposits are non-refundable and will be deducted from the total bill on the day of departure. Deposits must be paid within three (3) days of the reservation request and will be processed upon receipt. The reservation is registered and confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. Payment of the deposit implies acceptance of these terms and conditions and the hotel rules. Please note that without payment of the deposit within the specified timeframe, the reservation is not confirmed, and we therefore reserve the right to re-let the rooms.

5) PAYMENT METHOD:

Payment by cash, bank transfer and credit card.

Bank transfer - (exclusively in euros) to the account of Olivier FAVERIE (bank details provided upon request). Transfer fees are the sole responsibility of the sender.

The balance of the stay is to be paid upon arrival; additional services and consumption not mentioned in this contract are to be paid for the day before departure, at the initiative of the client.

6) MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION:

Any modification or partial or total cancellation of a reservation by the client must be requested directly from our establishment, either by mail or email. This modification or cancellation request will only be effective once LE CHIROL has confirmed its acceptance by mail or email.

· If the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the arrival date, the amount paid at the time of booking will be fully refunded.

If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the arrival date, the 50% deposit will be retained. If the client wishes, they can rebook for another stay within a limit of 6 months from the original booking, subject to availability at CHIROL.

· If the cancellation occurs less than 15 days before the arrival date, or in case of no-show, or if the client shortens their stay, LE CHIROL reserves the right to charge and claim or deduct the total amount of the planned stay including the booking of additional services ordered (table d'hôtes).

If the client does not arrive in any way before 8:00 PM on the scheduled arrival date, this contract becomes null and void, and the owner may make the rooms available to other guests. The deposit remains with the owner, who reserves the right to claim the remaining balance of the accommodation price.

If, before the start of the stay, LE CHIROL is forced to cancel the reservation, it must inform its client either by mail or email. The client, without prejudice to any claims for compensation for damages that may have been incurred, will be immediately reimbursed for any sums already paid.

Please note that cancellation insurance is not included in our rates. We therefore strongly recommend that you purchase it.

7) RESPONSIBILITY:

The client confirms that they are covered by civil liability insurance covering their liability and that of their family.

Children of clients are kept at CHIROL under the sole responsibility of their parents. Use of the swimming pool is at the client's own risk.

The client agrees to return the guest rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay, and to declare and financially assume any damage for which they may be responsible.

LE CHIROL declines all responsibility in case of theft, loss, damage to personal belongings and/or damage or injury to property or persons on the property, regardless of the cause.

If items are left behind in the room at the end of the stay, they can be sent to the person concerned, upon their request and at their expense.

8) ARRIVAL TIME:

Guests must arrive on the day of their reservation between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Please notify us in advance if you wish to arrive before 3:00 PM or after 7:00 PM so we can accommodate you. Early check-in fees may apply.

9) DEPARTURE TIME:

On the day of departure, guests must vacate their rooms before 11:00 AM. Any departure after 11:00 AM will result in an additional night's charge.

10) ROOM CHANGE:

Without the client being entitled to any compensation, CHIROL reserves the right to change the room initially booked by the client to a room of the same or greater capacity. In such a case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.

11) CAPACITY:

This contract is established for a specific number of occupants. LE CHIROL reserves the right to refuse entry to any additional person. This refusal will not be considered a modification or breach of contract by the owner. In the event of a client's departure, no refund will be given. Please note that in certain cases and under certain conditions, it may be possible to provide an extra bed, which will incur additional charges for the client.

12) BREAKFAST:

Breakfast is served every morning in a location that will be indicated to you the day before (Terrace, dining room, etc.). It is served at 9:00 AM.

13) PETS:

Pets are generally not allowed. However, if prior agreement is obtained from the operators of CHIROL to accommodate them, customers are fully responsible for any damage caused by their pets. Specific rules regarding pets may be outlined by the owner in house rules displayed within the accommodation. During their stay, pets remain the sole responsibility of their owners. In this case, a fee applies for accommodating your pets (€10.00 per pet per night).

14) ETIQUETTE AND USE OF PREMISES:

All guests are asked to observe proper etiquette to ensure the tranquility of the premises and the comfort of all. Guests agree to abide by the rules of conduct displayed in the rooms and in these terms and conditions.

Guests are kindly requested not to smoke in the rooms or at the windows, and not to light candles. The rooms are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outside, provided that cigarette butts are disposed of in the ashtrays provided.
- The private areas are not left at the free disposal of clients.
- Eating and drinking are prohibited in the rooms. The dining room and the area around the pool are not designated picnic areas.
- Any disrespectful behavior towards other customers and/or facilities may result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation.
- Only people staying at CHIROL are allowed to use the common areas and the swimming pool.
- Do not throw anything in the toilet other than toilet paper.

- Do not use the towels for removing makeup or cleaning shoes. We reserve the right to charge for the replacement of towels and/or linens stained by these products.

15) SWIMMING POOL:

The swimming pool is open from May to October (weather permitting), from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. It is reserved exclusively for family members and close friends of the owners, and guests staying in the bed and breakfast. LE CHIROL reminds guests that the swimming pool is unsupervised. All swimming in the pool must be done under the constant supervision of adults capable of intervening quickly in case of danger. Access to the pool and its surroundings is prohibited for unaccompanied children: children must be under the active, vigilant, and sole supervision of their parents.

All users of the swimming pool must be covered by Civil Liability insurance, including defense and recourse.
CHIROL and the owners of the premises decline all responsibility in case of accident or drowning.

16) DATA PROCESSING AND FREEDOM:

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 (law no. 78-17), you have the right to access and rectify your personal data. LE CHIROL undertakes not to transmit the information provided to other companies or organizations, except to competent authorities.

17) DISPUTE:

This contract is governed by French law.
All disputes arising from this contract, including those concerning its validity, interpretation, performance, termination, and any related consequences, shall be submitted to the competent courts within the jurisdiction of CHIROL, in accordance with applicable law. This contract and its consequences are governed by French law.

18) MODIFICATION OF TERMS OF SALE:

These terms and conditions of sale are subject to change at any time without notice. Acceptance of and compliance with these terms and conditions of sale are deemed to have been given upon payment of the deposit.
